What is there to do around Béziers?

Since its conception, the Canal du Midi has always had a dynamic function. Whether for agriculture, winemaking or transporting goods, it has always brought advantages with it. You can discover this spirit close to the waters of the current canal. Human feet have taken the place of horses along the towpaths. Plus, with the many cycling circuits nearby (including through the wine country), there’s even more to discover.

Travel to the heart of the Mediterranean

Near Béziers, enjoy a perfect introduction to wine tourism (all under the “Vignobles & découvertes” tourism brand), with a range of itineraries for a memorable day at the heart of the Béziers wine country. The winemakers are happy to share their passion with you.

Then there are the beaches. Valréas Plage, Sérignan Plage, Portiragnes Plage, Vias Plage and the Cap d’Agde put the Mediterranean at your feet where you can enjoy a spot of relaxation, kiting, boules, or a range of water sports, including paddling, jet-skiing and windsurfing. Just under 20 km from the hotel, the Cap d’Agde also features the Aqualand water park, a hit among young and old alike. With 14 attractions of differing levels around a swimming pool and restaurants, you’re sure to have a great day out. As for the Aquarium Marin (still on the Cap d’Agde), you’ll find a huge range of species of sea life living in the best possible conditions. There’s so much to see, a bit like the oddest fishy job fair you'll ever see with clowns, angels, and surgeon...fish, while the giant green turtles and sharks discretely play the leading roles!
